Opinions on the New Movie

I was wondering what other peoples opinions were on the new Superman Movie.

      They basically took the 3rd and 4th movie and threw them out the window.   Which in my opinion was probably the best idea.   There may have been other ways to go about it, or to change the bad parts of those movies, but in the end I think it ended up well.  I found the story of Lex to be a little bit lacking, I think they went too close to the Gene Hackman / Lex when, in my opinion, they should have gone closer to a Michael Rosembaum / Lex.  
      I understand that the movie is based on the comics, so they get a little cheesy at times, I just wish they had stayed a bit more serious.
      Overall though, I enjoyed the movie.

I thought this was a great show.  Much better then the way they had started going with Superman 3 and 4.

If they'd had the budget they PLANNED for, and SHOULD have had for No. 4, that could've been a GREAT movie! 

And hardly anyone seems to realize this, but they introduced Bizarro to the modern audiences here!  Think about it:  Bizarro and Nuclear Man were both clones of Superman, created by Lex Luthor! 

With the PROPER budget, this movie could've KEPT the franchise going, and Christopher Reeve might've directed several MORE films before his untimely death. 

I DID like the way Superman was shown respect throughout the movie.  When the speaker in The United Nations asked if there was a nation willing to sponsor Superman, all hands went up!  I LOVED that scene! 

When you THINK about it, they DID get a few things RIGHT in that movie.

Im a huge fan of the first TMNT movie. The second and third were ok. And the third only scoring that high because they brought Casey Jones back. But Im not sure about this new one. They just dont look right. Oh well Ill probably see it when it comes out. Hopefully it will be good. =)
